“World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims”
We take great pleasure to introduce ourselves as one of the 4Es of Road Safety Mantra:
ENGINEERING, ENFORCEMENT, EMERGENCY CARE N finally EDUCATION.
The Odisha Road Safety Alliance (ORSA) is a coalition of organizations and activists working towards significant changes and cohesive action around Road Safety in Odisha, including stronger laws and their effective enforcement. The alliance is hosted at Lok Mitra Foundation (LMF), an independent non-profit, non-governmental organization focused on improving road safety and emergency care across Odisha. LMF provides the ORSA members access to reliable and current data, resources and a platform to voice their ideas and recommendations.
The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDR) is commemorated on the third Sunday of November each year – to remember the many millions killed and injured on the world’s roads, together with their families, friends and many others who are also affected. It is also a Day on which we thank the emergency services and reflect on the tremendous burden and cost of this daily continuing disaster to families, communities and countries, and on ways to halt it.
Carrying forward, we are gathering “ONCE MORE” to Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims and also to say thanks the emergency services and reflect on the tremendous burden and cost of this daily continuing disaster to families.
Further, we solicit YOUR august association and support for the above said.
