The Chariots of Destiny Organization (http://www.chariotsofdestiny.org/ ), Pamoja Road Safety Initiative (http://pamojaroadsafety.org/ ) and Black Rose Innovate Marketing (BRIM) are working together to mark this year’s World Day of Remembrance for road crash victims. The event, dubbed Kilio (meaning “a cry”) will feature a mélange of talented artists coming together to entertain and educate especially the youth on Road Safety!
The slogan for the event is “To those we lost… For those still here” and will symbolize those who have been killed as a result of road crashes and to create awareness of the general public to embrace life, take responsibility and be ambassadors for road safety, so as to stabilize and eventually reduce the numbers of those killed and injured on our roads.
The event, which will be held in Nairobi at The International Christian Centre (I.C.C), Mombasa Road church, will target close to 1000 people and will include:
testimonies by injured victims and families of those who have been killed
Musical Groups (Project Platform)A moment of silence
