I. General provisions
Please read these General terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”, T&C) carefully before using this year’s World Day of Remembrance (WDoR) materials. The present terms and conditions set the rules for using the materials provided by FEVR for WDoR to natural and legal persons.
The following words and terms shall have the meanings set out below when they are used in the Terms and Conditions.
“European Federation of Road Traffic Victims” (“FEVR”) is the creator, owner and producer of the World Day logo, the official website and connected social media platforms.
“World Day of Remembrance” (“WDoR”) – The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDoR) is commemorated on the third Sunday of November each year – to remember the many millions killed AND injured on the world’s roads, together with their families, friends and many others who are also affected. Since 1995, road victim organisations under the umbrella of the European Federation of Road Traffic Victims (FEVR) observed this Day together – first as European Day of Remembrance, but soon as World Day of Remembrance (thus FEVR is the creator and first owner of the World Day of Remembrance). On 26th October 2005, the UN General Assembly adopted the World Day of Remembrance as “the appropriate acknowledgement for victims of road traffic crashes and their families”, since when FEVR had created and administered the official World Day website and provided posters, videos and other materials to World Day event organisers on all continents, with whom FEVR collaborated throughout the past 15 years.
We provide the following materials to natural and legal persons including NGOs:
