Today, Sunday (16 November), a discussion meeting was held in Banani, Dhaka, organized by BRTA and supported by the National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh, to observe the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. The event was presided over by Abu Momtaz Sad Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA). The event was graced by the presence of Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Mr. Sharf Uddin Ahmed Choudhury as the special guest. On behalf of the Road Safety Coalition Bangladesh, the National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh is once again observing the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, in memory of those killed and injured in road crashes. Theme is Remember, Support, Act—meaning: We remember those who lost their lives in road crashes, we stand by the injured with support, and we commit to taking effective actions to save lives.
