In the hall of the technical faculties building of the University of Montenegro, an educational lecture on traffic safety is planned to be held. The target group is young traffic participants, students of the University of Montenegro. The event is divided into three parts. First, there will be an interactive lecture focusing on the problem of youth casualties in traffic and the factors contributing to the risk of young people getting hurt in traffic. Additionally, the life stories of young people who survived traffic accidents, resulting in severe bodily injuries causing permanent disability, will be presented. Second, a demonstration exercise will be held with the help of so-called “drunk goggles,” with the aim of simulating the influence of dangerous factors on behavior in traffic (influence of alcohol, drugs, and fatigue). Finally, the participants will participate in a driving simulator, operating a “vehicle” on the simulator in various traffic situations, and with the help of the instructor, they will learn where they most frequently make mistakes during driving.
