As an organisation dedicated to community safety, the Alliance for Safe Community urges all Malaysians not to merely lament on the fate of the traffic victims, but to come forward to advocate road safety.
IKATANCare for Road Traffic Victims is an initiative to provide professional support to guide the victims reintegrating to society. Seminars including webinar will be organized to build the capacity for community in supporting road traffic victims, as well as professional clinics to bridge and guide and help them to obtain appropriate assistance, such as trauma management, mental well-being, rehabilitation and legal rights. This is with the aim to bring them back to the society soonest possible. Apart from this, their experience may serve as lessons that can be applied for advocacy purposes.
