As mandated by Republic Act 11468 of the Philippines, also known as the “National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims, Survivors and Their Families Act,” Rep. Ria Fariñas (1st District, Ilocos Norte), Rep. Rudys Fariñas I (Probinsyano Ako Party-List), and Board Member Junior Fariñas (1st District, Ilocos Norte) are spearheading a Commemorative Ceremony, through a Ride for a Cause and a Bloodletting event, on 15 November 2020 for road crash victims, survivors and their families. The event will gather around 400 riders with the intention to disseminate information on road safety and observance of road rules and regulations. This collaborative effort aims to bring together stakeholders from various sectors to advocate the value of human lives by remembering road crash victims and recognising the sufferings of their affected families and communities.
