On 21st November 2021, by marking The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, Swatantrata Abhiyan Nepal is planning to organize a National Launching of UN Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021 – 2030 where we will obtain commitments from concerned stakeholders.
Objectives:
• To express solidarity with Road crash victims and their families.
• To obtain national leaders’ commitment to Implementing the UN Global Decade of Action on Road Safety.
Activities:
The program will be chaired by Ms. Chandrakala Sharma, Chairperson of Swatantrata Abhiyan Nepal, and Hon. Minister Renu Kumari Yadav, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transportation will be the chief guest of the event. There will be a speech from a road accident victim, followed by the launch of the UN global decade of action on Road Safety and there shall be a presentation about the Importance of the Global Plan of Actions on road safety from SAN. Then, there will be a commitment speech from concerned stakeholders.
