When I was 20, I learned how fast life can disappear. One night me and my friends went out together — nothing unusual, nothing wild, just a normal night. We all left the house expecting to see each other the next morning. But one of us never came back.
I still remember waking up and noticing he wasn’t home. At first we thought he stayed with someone. An hour later we heard there’d been an accident near his house. Another hour later… we learned the truth. Losing a friend like that doesn’t leave you.
This year I discovered that every third Sunday of November is the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, and I couldn’t let it pass without honoring the life and light of the loved ones we’ve lost.
So this Sunday, we’re gathering for a Night of Remembrance & Worship — to remember, to honor, and to create space for healing.
This night is for anyone who has ever lost someone suddenly… For families still trying to heal… For anyone who needs God to breathe on them again.
We’ll worship. We’ll pray. We’ll speak life over families. And I’ll share something it took me years to understand — how important it is to protect the people you love before life catches you off guard.
Sunday, November 16 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM 3410 Midcourt Road, Suite 119, Carrollton, TX 75006 Free RSVP: DM to confirm your presence
If you’ve ever carried loss quietly… If this story hits you in a familiar way… Or if you just want to be in the room…
