Responders will line up helicopters, vehicles, and equipment that are important in saving lives when a traffic accident occurs. First responders are honored especially on this day.
In addition, symbolic commemorative ceremonies will be held throughout Iceland organized by the ICE-SAR.
Mrs. Halla Tómasdóttir, the President of Iceland, will give a speech. A person who has experienced firsthand the consequences of a fatal road accident will share her experience.
