Between November 14th and November 20th, Industrie Mica Prahova organizes an online road safety event on the “Drumul in siguranta” weblog and its corresponding Facebook page. The event is called “Safe Roads for All” and is part of Road Safety Week, an annual manifesto for saving lives on the roads through responsible behavior held by Brake Foundation. This year’s event emphasizes the fact that each life is important, and we need to protect each other on the street, providing extra care to vulnerable categories such as old people, children, people with disabilities or two-wheelers. Special attention is placed on speed driving, especially on rural roads. The last day of the event (November 20th) is dedicated to the lives lost on the road. Thus, World Day of Remembrance for road traffic victims will be commemorated through online posts.
