With funding support from @People that Deliver Initiative through the Last Mile Health Supply Chain COVID-19 Support’ Grand Challenge and in commemoration of the 2020 World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, GreenLight is organizing a training tagged; Safety Training for Truck & Ambulance Drivers during COVID-19, the training is a COVID-19 response program for health supply and logistic workforce, the project involves the provision of safety training for trucks and Ambulance drivers. The training module is designed to empower drivers and assistants with COVID-19 safety protocols; basic first aid; basic infection prevention and control; training on the appropriate and rational use of personal protective equipment (PPE), provision of personal protective equipment as well as educating these drivers on road safety measures.
