The students were well informed of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims as a day set aside to remember loved ones who have gone and to also remember the survivors (families). The students were enlightened on the importance of road safety from the angle of a road user and a passenger in daddy’s car or commercial vehicles. The value of life was over emphasized and the needless ways of road traffic crashes were pin pointed. The students were encouraged to pass the message on and save a life. Souvenirs like biros, jotters, stickers, flyers and t-shirts were given out to staff and students.
Questions were asked and adequate answers given.
The school management were happy for our visit and they expressed joy when we informed them that we were planning on establishing a road safety club in collaboration with Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria.
Thank you
