In Poland, the official commemorations of the World Day of Remembrance are organized every year in Malopolska region, in a small village Zabawa near Tarnów, at the “Przejście” (The Passage) monument of road crash victims. The association provides also during whole year free psychological support to road crash victims in Poland and other services to support them after a crash. The organizers of the event are the Przejście Association, the Center of Initiatives for Road Safety Foundation, the National Road Safety Council and the Motor Transport Institute. The event is organized in close cooperation with the European Federation of Road Traffic Victims (FEVR).

The commemorations include church ceremony, symbolic light at the monument, planting a memorial tree, meetings and groups of support with the victims, therapeutic workshops, educational programs, seminar and conference.
