With awareness and respect for road victims, we will, for the eighteenth consecutive year, mark the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims with the central commemoration on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 5 p.m. in the Red Hall of the City Hall, at Mestni trg 1 in Ljubljana.
Among others, the event will feature addresses by:
Zoran Janković, Mayor of the City of Ljubljana;
Ms. Andreja Katič, Minister of Justice – keynote speech;
Mag. Simona Felser, Director General of the Slovenian Traffic Safety Agency.
The musical performance will be provided by singer-songwriter Ditka, and the cultural program will include contributions from students of Rihard Jakopič Primary School.
Before the event, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., moderators from theSafe Journey Institute will be in front of the City Hall with awareness-raising activities, sharing life stories from THAT DAY.
