Within the Coast Region in Kenya, the National Transport and Safety Authority has identified children safety and justice as a priority and therefore embarks to create awareness on proper school road safety interventions as well as advocate for policy justice for children in the court system to protect children’s rights. The day shall be commemorated by a Road safety awareness walk within the Central Business District starting from the Mombasa Law Courts and the final ceremony at Jaffery Academy Mombasa where there will be a launch of a full school zone.
