This is the 2nd of two events in Pinellas Co. (The other is the morning of Nov. 20 at the (new) Treasure Island City Hall). The event will be held at 1 PM at the Williams Park bandshell with speakers followed by: for bicyclists – a slow ride with signs through downtown St. Pete; for pedestrians – a walk with signs through downtown St. Pete. Speakers will include elected officials, victims of road traffic and advocates for safer streets. A partial list of supporting organizations includes Bike Walk Tampa Bay, Forward Pinellas, Florida Bicycle Assn., St. Pete Bicycle Club, Car-Free St. Pete and Tampa Bay Cycling.
