Planning is still underway and being approved by our Dept. of Public Health:
– a living memorial consisting of shoes on the steps of City Hall, with placards bearing the names of those killed, commemorating the past five year’s crashes.
– elected officials, advocates, and supporters place flowers at the shoe memorials
– electeds, officials, advocates affected by traffic fatalities share testimonials with media
– we are also partnering with a number of other chapters across the country to stage a national event – involving a broadcast and shared action around shoe memorials.
