”Young Drivers and Road Safety” is an online campaign initiated by Industrie Mica Prahova SA and Drumul in siguranta weblog, at the beginning of the partnership with Protect Young Drivers. The campaign is planned to take place online between November 16th and November 21st. A series of materials will be distributed online, via our Facebook page and our weblog. It is mainly aimed at young drivers, whose lack of experience represents a risk to safety on the road, and the measures implemented so far do not contribute to a reduction of this risk. According to recent Police statistics, young people dominate the serious accidents category, the main causes being a risky behavior on the road, such as driving without a license, or speeding, or driving under the influence. According to most recent statistics, more than half of all traffic events occur at night, with young people being a vulnerable group due to their lack of experience. Recent studies have showed that the influence of road marking and road signs on this particular category of drivers is undeniable.
