WDoR Online Events, Conventions and Webinars

On November 16th, Qatar University, with the Qatar Transportation and Traffic Safety Center of the College of Engineering, the Department of Social Sciences of the College of Arts and Sciences, and Hamad Medical Corporation, will host a webinar with eminent speakers from each organization. The aim – remembering victims and affected people by road traffic accidents. Find the invitation link here.

Another online event, on November 17th, is a twitter discussion organized by the Mexican organization Biciverde. The theme is “Every Life Counts, For Those No Longer Here” and the event link is on this page.

At the FleetEurope Summit in Dublin, a booth by SafeDrivepod, MOBINCK and Athlon International will address the World Day of Remembrance and lunch Athlon Int’l’s new Safe & Green strategy. More here.

Nepal is also hosting an online International Webinar on Global Solidarity to Justice for Road  Traffic Victims on the 19th November, with 100 participants on a global scale. Registration link here.

Finally, Road Sense Australia is organizing an information session “sharing details about World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims and road safety”. Tealights will be handed out to the public in memory of lives lost on the road. Virtual participation to this event is also possible, through writing anonymous messages to be displayed during the session; or posting related messages on social media. Details and event link here.
